Jacky Cheung's Concert

Attended Jacky Cheung's concert last Sunday, and this was my first ever paid concert i attended. J.P came along, while Loon and elaine was seated just 6 seats besides us. The 3 1/2 hr concert was packed with powerful vocals from his ballads, energetic dancing (didn't expect so much of that), and half an hour of 舞台剧.

Some of the songs i could recall were his classics like, 祝福， 吻别， 一千个伤心的理由 , 心如刀割, 她来听我的演唱会, 我真的受伤了, some Cantonese songs such as 讲你知. I don't understand Cantonese but luckily some songs had lyrics flashed on the giant screens. He also sang songs from other artists such as Sun Yanzi's 天黑黑, Emil chau's 明天我要嫁給你 and Jeff Chang's 爱如潮水.

The encore was expected, with 13 songs, and one 她来听我的演唱会 which wasnt in the song lists in the previous 2 concerts. Guess he was happy that it was finally over. Reports in the papers had said he was crazy shreking and throwing the mike stand but i wudnt believe half of the things being said in those trashy evening papers. He did say that "why not scream? Scream when i feel like it right? After screaming any sadness will be gone and you'll feel better". Naturally i did screamed a lot that night.

Overall it was a very good concert, and definitely worth the $170 i spent.
